[He certainly won't object to more time spent with Phainon. Resting against him, he tucks his feet up under himself and gets comfortable. He tips his head up, smiling, and brings Phainon in closer for a kiss.]

I am in no hurry.

[Meaning, they can sit and kiss for a while if that is what they both want to do.]

[ It's easy enough to lean closer, to tilt his head and let their lips press together, something like a laugh bubbling inside of him. How strange and simple it is becoming, to share these moments with people. ]

We have a little time before the sun joins us.

[ And then he is leaning in for another, greedy. ]

Indeed... I am glad I thought to give us plenty of time beforehand.

[His kiss is needy, hand cupping Phainon's cheek and threading through to his hair, humming a soft sigh through his nose. If given half a chance he'll deepen it, easily distracted by the promise of more.]

It was a good idea.

[ It's not necessarily what Phainon had predicted would happen when they agreed to the sun and breakfast, but he isn't complaining. Kissing the other man is nice, and the fingers in his hair make him feel good. He feels drawn to him, like a moth to a flame, and the noise he makes is almost sweet.

Tilting up, he leans closer, wrapping an arm around Hythlodaeus despite the awkward angle. ]

[To fix the angle he shifts, turning to face him more. When he finally pulls away from the kiss to draw in a breath he continues to pepper them over Phainon's lips, soft and sweet.]

I could kiss you all night, I think... we would surely miss the sunrise.

[ It's all so soft, so sweet, and it makes that golden blush rise and settle on Phainon's cheeks without hesitation, as if it's painted on rather than inspired by a gentle touch. ]

I'd hate to miss one beautiful sight, even if it was for another.

[ Two can play at this game! ]

Well... luckily we have all of the time in the world afterwards to see any sight we like.

[He smiles- it warms his heart to think of the possibilities. Not just sex, but seeing everything this city has to offer. He's alive, after all. They both are.]

We shall see how the day proceeds.

That, I don't doubt.

[ Which means it's easier to relax, to let himself settle, to ignore some of the weight on his shoulders. ]

There are a few things that make this place difficult, but the views and the people are not one of them.

Indeed. The people are quite charming.

[He grins and leans in, kissing him again before cuddling back up beside him. He knows they have time to cuddle after breakfast but he definitely is enjoying this now, too.]

Has anybody ever told you that you're comfortable?

[ Phainon adjusts his weight a little to make it easier for Hythlodaeus to settle against him, lifting his hand to touch his hair, gently, idly playing with it. ]

Fig Stew tells me it all the time!

Fig Stew- oh, the chimera. Yes, well, the little critter is correct.

[Chuckling, he closes his eyes. Then he opens them again.]

Oh no, I will fall asleep like this...

[And have nightmares, probably. That would be awkward.]

Then we should do something to keep you awake.

[ Careful fingers brush along his arm gently. ]

I could tell you a story?

A story? Mm. What kind of story?

[Something tells him that Phainon would have some interesting stories to tell, about home or his friends.]

Something from my own world? There's tales of myself, or Mydeimos, or the Adventures of the Rosy Celestial Maiden...

[ Any of them could be good, he supposes. ]

I want to hear something about you.

[As much as the other two intrigue him, he'd rather get to know Phainon better whilst chatting with him. He turns into him slightly, smiling against his hair.]

About me! What could I say?

[ He laughs, sheepish, as if there's absolutely nothing special about him at all. ]

You may need to be more specific.

I can hardly be more specific when I don't know anything about you. Ah, but I want to know you. So, tell me a story about yourself that is close to your heart, perhaps.

[Surely Phainon has something like that up his sleeve?]

Ah, a point well made!

[ Hythlodaeus asks, and it should be simple, but it's hard to admit to the things close to him when so much of it is clouded by guilt, sadness and grief. He feels almost sheepish with it, not having something that springs to mind immediately. ]

Shall I tell you of my first meeting with Mydeimos?

Yes, that sounds like a nice story.

[He squeezes Phainon's hand, encouraging.]

And I am sure that it is close to your heart, too.

[Just like Hythlodaeus' first meeting with Hades is.]

It's very dear to me.

[ And Phainon goes on to explain it gently; how he joined Okhema's legions and trained constantly, and then he and Mydeimos came across one another. That the two of them fought without pause for ten days and ten nights, and how thrilled he had been at the sheer excitement of it.

He sounds so nostalgic. ]

We were rivals for some time after that!

[Hythlodaeus laughs at the absurdity of fighting for ten days and nights- it would be unheard of, where he comes from. And yet, he can see it now.]

Rivals to close friends, hmm? Heheh... thank you for sharing. I am not much of a fighter myself, or else I may have offered to spar with you... alas, you would surely defeat me within mere moments!

[His talents lie within magicks and archery, neither of which he can really show off here.]

[ It might sound ridiculous to anyone else, but for him and Mydei... It's almost a regular day. ]

Is it something you'd like to learn? I wouldn't mind doing the work with you.

Oh? It could be fun...

[He shifts to face Phainon more, smiling wide.]

I've always been the type to ah, remain away from the excitement of combat. I prefer the bow and arrow to fists, you see. And yet, you make it sound very compelling all the same. I did not consider that sparring could be a bonding exercise.

It can be! Mydeimos and I spar daily, and it's an excellent way to keep in shape and focus your mind.

[ Mydeimos had once commented that Phainon enjoyed fighting because it shut his mind down of all his other concerns, and he wasn't wrong. ]

Not that I think you have any problems with your figure!

I'm glad you think so.

[He giggles, leaning in for a brief kiss.]

I should like to see you in action. I will gladly accept your proposal.

[Hythlodaeus thinks he could learn a lot from Phainon. Given the intimate nature of their chat, his other sight works. The soul he beholds is blinding- ancient and beautiful, yet it also seems like it's less one soul and mostly blinding because it's made up of millions of individual souls.]

Intriguing... I have never seen a soul that looks quite like yours.
